Aeterna Ascensus - Monthly Prize Rules

In short

Every calendar month, the player with the highest score on the in-game Monthly leaderboard wins the monthly prize.
Taking part is free and no purchase is necessary. Nothing you can buy in the game affects your score: coin packs are not sold while the monthly competition runs, and removing ads does not change gameplay.
You need to be signed in with Google so that your scores appear on the leaderboard.
You must be 18 or older to take part and to win a prize.

Current prize: October 2026: €100 for 1st place.
Prizes for later months are announced in the game (Leaderboard → Monthly) before the month begins and may be larger.

1. Organizer

The competition is organized by Nikandatech, the independent developer of the mobile game "Aeterna Ascensus" (formerly "Sword Jump"; "the App"), based in Finland. Contact: nikandagames@gmail.com

Google and Apple are not sponsors of, and are in no way involved in, this competition.

2. Competition period

Each competition lasts one calendar month, as shown on the Monthly tab of the in-game leaderboard. The in-game countdown shows how many days are left. A new competition starts automatically at the beginning of every month unless the organizer announces otherwise.

3. Who can take part

Anyone who plays the App while signed in with a Google account, is at least 18 years old, and lives in a country where this kind of competition is legal.
The organizer may ask the winner to confirm their age before the prize is paid.
The organizer and members of the organizer's household cannot win.
One account per person. Using several accounts to compete is not allowed.

4. How the winner is chosen

The winner is the player whose score is highest on the Monthly leaderboard when the month ends.
If two or more players have the same score, the player who reached that score first wins.
The winner is decided by skill (the score you reach in the game), not by chance.

5. Fair play and verification

Scores are checked before a prize is paid. The organizer may disqualify a score or a player, and pass the prize to the next eligible player, if a score is not plausible or was achieved by cheating, modifying the App, exploiting bugs, automation, or any other unfair method. The organizer's decision on verification is final.

6. Prize

The prize amount for each month is shown in the game before that month begins. October 2026: €100.
The prize is paid by bank transfer or PayPal, or, if the winner prefers, as a digital gift card of the same value. It cannot be exchanged for anything else.
Any taxes on the prize are the winner's responsibility.

7. Contacting the winner

Within 7 days after the month ends, the organizer contacts the winner by email at the address of the Google account used to sign in to the App. The winner must reply within 14 days and provide the details needed to pay the prize. If the winner does not reply in time, cannot be verified, or is not eligible, the prize passes to the next eligible player on the leaderboard. The winner's in-game display name may be announced in the App.

8. Personal data

The winner's email address and payment details are used only to contact the winner and pay the prize, and are deleted when they are no longer needed for that purpose or for accounting obligations. See the privacy policy for more information.

9. Changes and cancellation

The organizer may change or end the monthly competition. Changes apply from the following month, and are announced in the App and on this page. A competition that has already started is not made less favorable to players.

10. Applicable law

Lyhyesti

Joka kalenterikuukausi pelin Kuukausi-tulostaulun korkeimman tuloksen tehnyt pelaaja voittaa kuukauden palkinnon.
Osallistuminen on ilmaista eikä ostoksia tarvita. Mikään pelistä ostettava ei vaikuta tulokseesi: kolikkopaketteja ei myydä kuukausikilpailun aikana, eikä mainosten poisto muuta pelaamista.
Sinun pitää olla kirjautunut Googlella, jotta tuloksesi näkyvät tulostaulussa.
Osallistuminen ja palkinnon voittaminen edellyttävät, että olet vähintään 18-vuotias.

Nykyinen palkinto: lokakuu 2026: 100 € 1. sijalle.
Seuraavien kuukausien palkinnot ilmoitetaan pelissä (Tulostaulu → Kuukausi) ennen kuukauden alkua, ja ne voivat olla suurempia.

Google ja Apple eivät ole tämän kilpailun sponsoreita eivätkä osallistu siihen millään tavalla.

2. Kilpailuaika

Kukin kilpailu kestää yhden kalenterikuukauden, joka näkyy pelin tulostaulun Kuukausi-välilehdellä. Pelin laskuri näyttää, montako päivää on jäljellä. Uusi kilpailu alkaa automaattisesti jokaisen kuukauden alussa, ellei järjestäjä ilmoita toisin.

3. Kuka voi osallistua

Kuka tahansa, joka pelaa Sovellusta Google-tilillä kirjautuneena, on vähintään 18-vuotias ja asuu maassa, jossa tällainen kilpailu on sallittu.
Järjestäjä voi pyytää voittajaa vahvistamaan ikänsä ennen palkinnon maksamista.
Järjestäjä ja järjestäjän kanssa samassa taloudessa asuvat eivät voi voittaa.
Yksi tili per henkilö. Usealla tilillä kilpaileminen on kielletty.

4. Voittajan valinta

Voittaja on pelaaja, jonka tulos on kuukauden päättyessä korkein Kuukausi-tulostaulussa.
Jos usealla pelaajalla on sama tulos, voittaa se, joka saavutti tuloksen ensimmäisenä.
Voittaja ratkeaa taidon (pelissä saavutetun tuloksen) perusteella, ei sattumalla.

5. Reilu peli ja tarkistus

Tulokset tarkistetaan ennen palkinnon maksamista. Järjestäjä voi hylätä tuloksen tai pelaajan ja siirtää palkinnon seuraavalle kelpoiselle pelaajalle, jos tulos ei ole uskottava tai se on saavutettu huijaamalla, muokkaamalla Sovellusta, hyödyntämällä virheitä, automaatiolla tai muulla epäreilulla tavalla. Järjestäjän päätös tarkistuksesta on lopullinen.

6. Palkinto

Kunkin kuukauden palkinto ilmoitetaan pelissä ennen kuukauden alkua. Lokakuu 2026: 100 €.
Palkinto maksetaan pankkisiirtona tai PayPalilla tai voittajan niin halutessa saman arvoisena digitaalisena lahjakorttina. Palkintoa ei voi vaihtaa muuhun.
Palkintoon mahdollisesti liittyvät verot ovat voittajan vastuulla.

7. Yhteydenotto voittajaan

Järjestäjä ottaa voittajaan yhteyttä 7 päivän kuluessa kuukauden päättymisestä sähköpostitse siihen osoitteeseen, joka kuuluu Sovellukseen kirjautumiseen käytettyyn Google-tiliin. Voittajan on vastattava 14 päivän kuluessa ja annettava palkinnon maksamiseen tarvittavat tiedot. Jos voittaja ei vastaa ajoissa, häntä ei voida varmentaa tai hän ei ole kelpoinen, palkinto siirtyy seuraavalle kelpoiselle pelaajalle. Voittajan pelin sisäinen näyttönimi voidaan julkaista Sovelluksessa.

8. Henkilötiedot

Voittajan sähköpostiosoitetta ja maksutietoja käytetään vain yhteydenottoon ja palkinnon maksamiseen, ja ne poistetaan, kun niitä ei enää tarvita tähän tarkoitukseen tai kirjanpitovelvoitteisiin. Lisätietoja tietosuojaselosteessa.

9. Muutokset ja lopettaminen

Järjestäjä voi muuttaa kuukausikilpailua tai lopettaa sen. Muutokset tulevat voimaan seuraavasta kuukaudesta, ja niistä ilmoitetaan Sovelluksessa ja tällä sivulla. Jo alkanutta kilpailua ei muuteta pelaajille epäedullisemmaksi.

10. Sovellettava laki
